Wireless Cross-Technology Communication in the Internet of Things

This paper explores the realm of cross-technology communication (CTC), focusing on its application in the Internet of Things (IoT). We delve into the challenges and limitations of existing CTC methods and propose enhancements for future implementations. Through our research, we developed software that can simulate and implement different signaling, encoding, and decoding schemes, thereby advancing the understanding and effectiveness of this type of communication. Our findings indicate that while current methods show potential, they require refinement, particularly in terms of reliability and efficiency. We suggest future research directions. Our work contributes to the foundational knowledge in this field, also producing software that can further development.
